Pinehurst Number 9:
Originally opened in 1989 as the National Golf Club, this Jack Nicklaus designed course was acquired by the Pinehurst Resort in 2014, and renamed Pinehurst Number 9.
The only Nicklaus designed course in the Sandhills region, will be a great start to our tour.
Number 9 is an intriguingly well-balanced course which, according to Golf Digest, “has come to enhance even the lofty Sandhills image for world-class golf amenities.”
The Penn A1 greens should be a nice familiar feel.
